In this clip I’m using a simple trick: convert the plate to Sheet Metal first, then sketch the tube profile on the tube end plane and do a cut with Normal Cut turned on. The result is a DXF that matches the tube perfectly, and in the real world the plate will twist straight onto the tube with almost no grinding. Little workflow tweaks like this make a huge di
