The Band Stallion & the New Foal— this was a wonderful dynamic to observe. Multiple bands ran alongside and passed us, and up on the hill we saw this golden stallion, running with his band ahead of him. We looked farther back to see if any more horses were coming and saw this lone mare and new foal, sometimes walking sometimes trotting. Far ahead, her golden band stallion stopped and looked back and noticed she was still back there and ran back to help escort her and their little foal back to th
